English Classes
P1-P3 Reading Program (2 hours):
Our reading Program is a comprehensive package of best-selling storybooks, book reviews, article analyses with poetry reading and speech & drama components for students between 7-9 years old.
Students will be encouraged to have open debates, share ideas, and enact extracts from their favourite books during these interactive lessons.
The curriculum is designed to engage kids in innovative ways, allowing them to use their creativity and expand their vocabulary.
Additionally, students will acquire comprehension techniques such as inferencing, deducing and summarising.
Each lesson is carefully curated to pique the curiosity of children and allow them to enjoy learning a diverse set of themes such as fantasy, magic, realistic fiction, adventure, and classics.
P4-P6 Writing Program (3 hours):
Our Writing Program is a progressive continuation from the Reading Program where students learn how to effectively convey their thoughts eloquently onto a paper by employing a variety of tools such as newspaper articles, magazines, and factual pieces for students between 10 – 12 years old.
Students will learn story writing based on imagination and personal recount through various writing techniques such as literary devices and character description. Students will have opportunities to present their work in class to boost confidence.
In this program, students will also further their skills in tackling Comprehension Cloze and Comprehension OEQ which are the key components in paper 2.
Classroom engagement is a key criteria as students are expected to share their thoughts as stimulated discussion allows students to voice their opinions and gain insights on broader arguments.
Chinese Classes
Chinese composition 华文写作班
Our 2 hour Chinese composition class aims to hone the students’ writing skills and to help them with paper 1 preparation. Spiral based approach is adopted to help students review and enhance what they have learnt in the previous lessons. 4 lessons per unit following the structure below:

Week 1: Writing technique & vocabulary

Week 2 to 4: 3 full composition practice
Oral practice and mock test are also included at the end of each term to prepare the students for their school exams.
Students who wish to join this course need to meet minimum score of 70 in their most recent school exam.
我们的两小时华文作文课程旨在锻炼学生的华文写作技能，帮助他们准备一卷的考试内容。我们采用的螺旋式教学方法，能有效复习和加强学生在前一单元所学知识。每个单元包含四节课：

第一周：写作技巧和词汇

第二周至第四周：三次完整作文练习
在每学期期末我们还安排了口试练习和考前模拟测试，帮助学生备考。
参加本课程的学生需要在最近一次学校考试中取得至少70分。
Chinese comprehensive 华文综合班
Our 3 hour Chinese comprehensive class provides sufficient practice in all necessary components of learning Chinese, including speaking, listening, composition writing, and reading comprehension.
Students are given the tools they need to develop their analytical and creative thinking skills through our curriculum. Students are also trained to think critically and articulate their own thoughts through guided brainstorming sessions and interactive teaching methods.
Vocabulary from higher Chinese will be used to expand the students’ reading ability. For P5 and P6, higher Chinese classes will cover exam techniques for both normal Chinese and higher Chinese questions.
Students from all levels can join this course.
我们的三小时华文综合课程包括了学习华文所需的所有必要组成部分，包括口语、听力、作文和阅读理解。通过学习我们的课程，学生将获得发展分析和创造性思维技能所需的工具。学生还将通过引导性的头脑风暴会话和互动教学方法被训练去批判性思考和表达自己的思想。在所有年级的教学中，我们讲使用高华词汇来拓展学生的阅读能力。对于五年级和六年级的学生，高华课程将覆盖普华和高华的题型分析及答题技巧。
所有水平的学生都可以参加此课程。
